The powerful 12-amp motor combined with five spinning brushes that operate at either high or low speed lift the usual dirt and grime out of carpets. By pulling on the trigger in the comfortable upright handle, this deep cleaner releases the included carpet/upholstery cleaner and hot tap water. For more stubborn stains or for high-traffic areas, this SteamVac also has a Clean Surge feature, which sends an extra blast of cleaning solution into the stain by simply pressing a button on the handle. I LOVE THIS CARPET CLEANER.
IT IS VERY STURDY YET LIGHT ENOUGH TO CARRY UP AND DOWN STAIRS.
I HAVE HAD MORE EXPENSIVE BISSELL CARPET CLEANERS AND THIS ONE
IS MUCH BETTER!
IT DOESNOT OVER SATURATE WITH WATER AND MAKE IT HARD FOR CARPET TO DRY,
IT CLEANS AREAS GREAT!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CLEANER.

We've intensively steam-cleaned for several days and the SteamVac has worked wonderfully, with no problems. The clean surge option is great at working on tough spots and the machine itself is easy to clean and work with. While it's still new to us, it was well worth the money and we're very happy.

This machine is so much easier to use than my old Bissell. It has a whole different method of cleaner brush from most of the carpet cleaners I have used and it really cleans the individual carpet fibers. Stains came out much easier. My old carpet looks fluffy and new. I am very happy with my purchase of the refurbished model: It looked new to me and works great! I did purchase some of the other attachements to complete my cleaning experience.

I have lived here 19 years, carpet never looked this good. Easy to use and fast. Quick to dry. Best I ever owned. You would never know kids, grandkids, cat and dog lived here. Have a good sweeper and cleaned on regular basis and shampooed too. Nothing matched this machine. Do use the hoover detergents, works much better than others I have tried. I used Shout Advanced for Greasy Set-in Stains on white carpet, let sit for 10 minutes and it came out first time. It was there for 5 years with no luck. The brush bar got full of hair and carpet fuzz, so I blasted it with the garden hose, came perfectly clean. Love to use this.
